Emily Bruck (she/her) was born and raised outside of Washington, DC in Fairfax, Virginia. She started dancing at 3 years old after putting on shows in her basement for her family, making them all sit on the couch to watch. Growing up in competitive dance, she trained in various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, contemporary, theater, floorwork, and tap. Emily is now based in New York City where she is training at the Joffrey Ballet School in the Jazz and Contemporary Program under the direction of Angelica Stiskin.
Emily has been training and working with notable artists such as Beth Crandall, Angelica Stiskin, Adrian Lee, Gabe Katz, Steven Blandino, Michael Waldrop, and Angelo Soriano. She is currently working with vocal coach Deric Rosenblatt. She has spent summers diversifying her art at the Verdon Fosse Legacy Training Program under the direction of Nicole Fosse, Steps Summer Study, and Hubbard Street Dance Summer Intensive. Emily is on track to earn her BFA in Dance from Joffrey Ballet School in partnership with New Jersey City University.
